This year has been difficult on us all, not being able to see family and friends is hard for sure. With the vaccine being available now we all still need to be safe and practice social distancing, it will still be several months before everyone will be able to get the vaccine. Technology has made it easier than ever to stay connected these days, we can connect with our loved ones and friends via Zoom, Skype, Meeting or a whole host of other methods. Being able to jump on a Zoom meeting really is the next best way to keep in touch until it is safe again. I cannot imagine what we would have done without being able to connect with technology. If we have to miss a holiday this year in order for everyone to be safe so that we can celebrate many more in the near future, then staying home is a no brainer.
It is for sure not easy being inside so much, but we can take this time to enjoy our family or learn something new and fun. If you are fortunate to be in a warm climate this time of the year then you still can enjoy the beautiful parks and all that nature has to offer. I know that we are more of a texting society, but in times like these it is nice to pick up the phone and reach out to that special person in your life, texting just does not get it all the time.
